ShieldNet Defense v1.1.0 is now available

We are pleased to announce the release of ShieldNet Defense v1.1.0 on 12 February 2026. This update is designed to reduce manual admin work, give businesses clearer visibility into suspicious activity, and help teams spot risky applications earlier.

For SMEs, security gaps often happen quietly. A new employee is not added in time. A former employee account stays active longer than it should. A suspicious login gets buried in logs. An unapproved app appears on a work device and nobody notices. ShieldNet Defense v1.0.1 is built to make those issues easier to see and easier to manage.

What’s new in ShieldNet Defense v1.1.0

1. Microsoft 365 employee import

ShieldNet Defense can now connect to Microsoft 365 to import your employee list and keep it updated automatically.

This helps businesses set up faster, maintain more accurate protection coverage, and reduce the risk of missing accounts that should be monitored. It also keeps your dashboard aligned with your real employee list without requiring constant manual updates.

2. Microsoft 365 activity insights

ShieldNet Defense now pulls Microsoft 365 activity records to help businesses monitor account compromise risks, including password guessing attempts, suspicious sign-ins, and unauthorized access activity.

This gives teams a faster way to answer basic but important questions like: who accessed what, when it happened, and whether the activity looks normal. Instead of digging through complex logs, businesses can review suspicious activity with more clarity and less effort.

This can help reduce the risk of data leakage, improve visibility into account access, and make it easier to respond when an account may be exposed.

3. Application inventory on employee devices

ShieldNet Defense now shows a full list of installed applications on employee devices, helping businesses identify apps that may be unapproved, unnecessary, or risky.

This feature is designed for visibility, not blocking. It allows teams to review what is installed, spot potential policy issues, and follow up before those applications create bigger security concerns.

For SMEs, this means less manual checking, better control over work devices, and lower risk from unknown or free applications that may not belong in a business environment.

Why this update matters

Many SMEs do not have a dedicated security team watching every login, every account, and every device. That is why security tools need to make risks easier to understand, not harder.

ShieldNet Defense v1.1.0 helps businesses:

  • Reduce manual admin work
  • Keep employee records more accurate
  • Review suspicious Microsoft 365 activity more quickly
  • Gain visibility into applications installed on employee devices
  • Take action earlier before small issues become larger risks

Coming soon

We will soon add endpoint device vulnerability checks to help businesses identify devices that need updates, prioritize remediation, and reduce exposure more effectively.

A simpler way to stay protected

We hope these updates help your business stay on top of Microsoft 365 activity, maintain cleaner device visibility, and spot risky applications earlier without needing a full security team.

If you need help enabling these features, please contact our support team or your account representative.

Happy Lunar New Year from the ShieldNet 360 team. Stay protected, celebrate with peace of mind, and start the new year strong.
